National Infertility Awareness Week

Singapore’s record-low Total Fertility Rate (TFR) has been dominating headlines. The numbers tell a clear story: we are having fewer children, and we are having them later in life. But behind every static statistic is a human story—one often marked by silent struggle, confusion, and hope. During this National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW), Monash IVF Singapore is pulling back the curtain on reproductive health. We’re moving beyond the macro-demographic data to focus on the personal realities, the modern pressures, and the advanced solutions that are redefining what it means to build a family in 2026.

In conjunction with National Infertility Awareness Week, Monash IVF Singapore is highlighting male factor infertility, which contributes to approximately half of all infertility cases. The initiative includes a series of digital educational resources aimed at improving awareness and encouraging early evaluation. The centre also emphasises the importance of proactive fertility planning for both men and women in response to evolving lifestyle and demographic trends.
